Pork or Chicken or Beef Lo Mein Noodles
Tender lo mein noodles with choice of pork, chicken, or beef.
A quiet corner of Blue Jay where wok-fire, mountain air, and family recipes meet. Authentic Chinese cooking, served with care since the pines first whispered.
High up on State Highway 189, where Blue Jay's pines lean into the cold air and the lake below holds the last of the daylight, Mandarin Garden has been quietly cooking the dishes our family grew up on. Every plate is a small letter home - the snap of a wok, the perfume of garlic and ginger, a careful balance of tangy, savory, and sweet.
We make our Lo Mein noodles tender, our Orange Peel Chicken bright with chili and zest, and our Beef with Broccoli the way our grandparents taught us: never rushed, never overworked. From the first crackle of oil to the last hand-folded dumpling, the goal is the same - feed you the way we'd feed our own table.
Whether you're stopping in after a day on the mountain or warming the house with takeout when the lanterns are lit, we're glad to set a place for you.

Absolutely loved this place! Mandarin Garden is a hidden gem, everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The Orange Peel Chicken was crispy with just the right amount of zest, and the Sweet and Sour Pork had the perfect balance of tangy and sweet. The Egg Fried Rice was light, not greasy, and packed with flavor. And the Egg Flower Soup to Go was comforting and satisfying, perfect for a cozy night in. You can tell they care about quality and consistency here. I'll definitely be coming back soon!
I got the hot and sour soup, vegetable mushu, and mapo tofu. It was all really good, and the restaurant also called to make sure I knew it wasn't vegetarian.
